Sentries idea: booster

K u say that this is op. K, competition:
1st tier: Boost T2 and other T3
Health:112
Snipe sentry (i don’t understand how emitter and calculate miniguns dmg)
Common: 97
Boosted: 1,18 * 97 = 114
Nade
Common: 24
Boosted: 24*1,18 = 28
Bank (k this is a bit OP)
Common: 0.35
Boosted: 0,55
Repair
Common 1400
Boosted 1430 (so op)
Tank
Common 500
Boosted 511
Ill add more, but boost sentry too low, expect combining with bank
Forgot regen and tank dmg
Regen: 4hp/s
Dmg:
Common 6
Boosted 7

You dont exactly get my point. There’s 2 things different between Shaman and Booster.

  1. It’s single-purpose. It’s limited to HP/Healing, not damage boosts, not speed boosts, etc.
  2. It’s an alternative to a inconsistent system of life chests.

Boosters meanwhile are:

  1. Multi-purpose, they boost almost every stat.
  2. They’re an alternative to a system that is very consistent.

But sham on 1 wave increase hp on 1/3 when for example boost dmg only 1/6.

Its artelnative for high upgrade prices at late-game

Max hp more important than dmg, also include that max hp by shaman

  • Hp almost permanent (single scare - reset)
  • Hp increase for unlimited distance, when boost has distance

That doesn’t address the problems, booster is still multi-purpose and replaces a very consistent system.

Consistent? What u use for farm wish: only tank
I never use minigun, its unconsistantly low
On <t7 nade has no sense, on >t6 it wil self-destroy in few shoots without repair, support like boost
Repair is almost impossible to regen to full, even with nade

Its just few examples!!!

To be honest nade blowing itself up is funny and annoying. But you can fix this by placing it somewhere else, usually on a higher ground.

Tank isn’t a problem either, just place it somewhere better or pick it up and re-place it near the end of a round.

I meant a consistent system of upgrades, the sentries always cost a set amount to upgrade. Meanwhile life chests can vary drastically.

What does consistency have to do with it?

iirc, picking up and re-placing sentry heals it. That’s what I meant

I mean that Shaman is an alternative to unreliable life chests, while Booster sentries is trying to replace a consistent and reliable upgrade system.

Some upgrades can be expensive for little reward, but I dont think you should replace the upgrade system entirely, instead suggest changes for those sentries

More 13 lvl auto-one-shots

What do you mean by that?

13*8=104 that bigger that max hp - 100. So its self-one-shots (T13)

There’s NO consistency in sentries

The upgrades are very consistent… Costs are consistent… No matter how variable you try to make the game, the sentry will be the same through all, you can only vary through strategy and how the map is built

How

On some easy and bad maps sentry has no sense

Costs the same amount each time, it’s up to you to change the outcome

Thanks for proving my point

Cost is consistent, im agree, im not agree with functions consistent

? Np

Function is consistent every time they are active, they don’t vary

The rounds may cause then to vary, yes, but that’s because you placed it too late
