Zombies Waves

This guide contains spoilers for the Zombies gamemode. You have been warned

Read the Final Notes section before editing this post

This is a guide that tells of which enemies spawn and when, among other things related to the Zombies Waves. Feel free to add to the wiki if you find anything incorrect, misleading, outdated, or anything that can be added or expanded on. The wiki may not be 100% precise.

The slight weirdness of the wiki (the tall useless black images, or the fact that some of the formatting doesnt work, for example) exist for formatting purposes. Do not remove these. They will be removed after editing finishes.

Defenitions of Terms

Variables

x=amount of gravestones in a map

Rounds

Rounds represent stages of a game. They can be checked at the right hand side of the screen, under your DTP stats. There are 21 rounds in Zombies, before it repeats the last round. (Note: There are no enemies past round 21, but you lose your armor at wave 22, and your health is set at 100 HP at round 23.)

Waves

This represents each time zombies get spawned from the gravestones. The more gravestones there are, the more enemies are in each waves. You must kill a certain amount of enemies to go to the next wave (in Round 1, the threshold is so low that it goes to the next round instantly).
The amount of waves increases with the rounds, but the amount of waves is not affected by the amount of gravestones.

Clusters

(unnoficial term)

These are the names for the enemies that spawn form the gravestones. If a map has 4 gravestones, then 4 clusters will spawn per wave. Each “Wave” consists of x “Clusters”, with x being the amount of “Gravestones”.

Gravestones

(unnoficial term, also known as spawns, graves, or spawnpoints)

This refers to the areas where zombies spawn, named because they are usually represented with graves in most maps. Maps have a different amount of gravestones, which contributes to how many enemies spawn per round/wave.

Calculation of Enemies in a round

Round 1 always has 2 waves, and each cluster in Round 1 has one enemy. So for example;

A map with 4 gravestones would have 8 enemies in Round 1.

And a map with 7 gravestones would have 14 enemies in that Round 1.

Formula for finding amount of enemies in a round → (Wave amount X Gravestone amount X Cluster amount)

(The amount of enemies in each round is always a multiple of the amount of enemies per wave)

Another way to think of these terms is that each Zombies “Game” consists of “Rounds”, which themselves consist of “Waves”

Primary Enemy

This is an enemy that spawns each time. They are the most common enemies of each wave and round, and multiple appear in one cluster. If there are multiple primary enemies, then they both appear in the cluster (Example: Psychos and Gingerbread Men in round 13).

Secondary Enemy

These enemies only appear once per cluster. If there are multiple secondary enemies in a wave, then one is randomly picked to spawn. For example, if a gravestone summons enemies in Round 7, it would summon a number of Spore Zombies, and either a Wandering Eye, a Hoplite, or a Chaos Elemental, as they are Secondary Enemies

Boss

These enemies only spawn once per Round, and they always spawn at the same gravestone in the last wave. They dont appear multiple times, and are stronger then the normal enemies. Killing them grants points, depending on how fast they were killed. With the “Normal Rounds”, there is a boss on rounds 5, 7, 10, 13, 15, and 20. Each round with a boss will have a notification saying such. Example of this message can be found below.

Extra Notes-

  • The brackets next to the enemy represent their stats. The stats listed are HP, Damage, and Defense. For enemies with multiple variants (like Zombies), the ID of the enemy will be included too. Some enemies in Zombies have modified stats, like the Slimer. The vanilla stats are included in round brackets next to the changed stats. INCLUDE EXAMPLE OF THIS WHEN YOU ARONE DONE!!!
    • We do not have confirmation yet on the specific stats of enemies (outside of HP, as it is shown by hovering over an enemy), but for the purposes of this guide, they will be shown as they are in vanilla, unless we can confirm the changes (something that is yet to happen).

These rounds are the default set of enemies spawned on maps. They are the default set of enemies on any map without a custom set of enemies (an update which as of now is not out.).

Final Notes-

  • The formatting is intentionally broken for the sake of ease of editing for me. It will be fixed once i finish it completely. Do not revert the changes.
  • Any text in full caps is to remind me to add something later. Do not revert these changes.
  • (There was originally going to be a table of the enemy amounts in each wave, but its most likely too much work considering most players wont be able to use it/wont need to use it.)
  • INCLUDE MODIFIED HP VALUES FOR ENEMIES

I think you can add a bit more formatting, like this:

Normal Rounds

Round 1

  • Zombies

You can do it too since you have editing perms :ı

what does normal rounds imply? do they diff normal waves from event ones like christmas?

Normal Rounds define the default sets of Mobs spawned per wave in a Normal Lobby

Your assessment is spot-on; Event Zombies have different Mobs per wave, so there is a distinction between it and Normal Zombies.

thanks, but it will be a while before the event list comes

This wiki is very incomplete in my opinion.

wait since when was there a paladin on round 15

Yeah, this is an error. By the way, anyone can edit the OP since it’s a wiki.

Oh I confused the boss with the Goblin Summoner
It’s actually round 13 and summoner is round 15

Dont confuse the paladin as a common enemy as the paladin as a boss.

Oh, the Paladin is a boss?

I thought they only spawned as a regular mob in the later rounds.
