:pool_8_ball: Map Pools

To allow new players to become familiar with maps faster and to reduce being overwhelmed with the large number of maps, maps are now selected from predefined pools, each having roughly five maps. A pool is chosen every four days, and only maps from that pool are chosen at random. Players can still vote on maps outside of the chosen pools as usual. This change only affects random map selection: when at least one player did not vote and a random map is chosen. Furthermore, new maps are always candidates for random selection for at most one month after their release

The following are the predefined pool of maps

  • Beach House v2, Distant Windmill, Forgotten Tomb, Pirate Harbour, The Battle of Trafalgar
  • CandyLand, Glass Castle, Groesten Haus, Laboratory of Madness, Snowyville
  • Bio Clusters, Chaidou Woods, Infinity Fortress, Ruina, Shadow Requiem
  • Lunar Mineshafts, Miner’s Duplicity, Mystic Library, Skelotens, Untimely Exploration
  • Delivery, Demonic Golf Club, Fungal Fields, The Duality, The Fall of Mystic Library
  • Fiery Crags, Gun Caverns, Inferno Battlefield, Unholy Affliction, Wrong Dimension

  • Added two new zombie spawn warning messages on top of “Grrrr…”
  • Particles now spawn when switching dual wield modes. The particles move in the same direction projectiles would

  • Fixed /zchest set and /zchest unset commands requiring a zchest selected first
  • Fixed teleporting into the intermission ground when dying
