Because I went and read the rules properly and corrected my false impression. I first patched the client with my own code six years ago, during the time that the PVE lobby was popular and was formatted as the long orange rectangle with bosses on the right and mobs on the left. I teleported to an admin (or builder?) and watched him build out of bounds for a while. I had a conversation with him. I wasn’t banned for that, or anything else I did. I got bored after a month or two and stopped playing. At the time, I assumed that if I wasn’t detrimental in any way, that I was the least of the server’s problems. I resuscitated the project in May and made my return soon after. I triggered a system ban today by using the journey menu out of boredom, just to see if it would work. Logging on with the client at all was a poor choice, and not just because my tampering backfired. I’m not proud of myself. I still want to play on the server though, because I had a lot of honest, good fun this last week. I’m willing to trade the use of my kooky modifications for being an upstanding community member. I will never connect to the server with a modified client again, in keeping with the rules that I have now read. I apologize for being neglectful of my due diligence. I do not know the depths of the workings of the server, but I also apologize for any and all server and gameplay integrity that I have violated or damaged. I’ll test my creations on anarchy servers that invite this behavior instead of causing further issues. I am willing to cooperate, and I will answer questions. Thank you in advance!
