The Trading System has now been updated. The system has been snapshot before the update, so if anything goes wrong I can revert as needed.
What’s New
Here is a look at some of the brand new features added in this update. Most of this update has been mostly a refresh on current features, but a few were added to fill in some gaps.
Profile Badges
Users now have new badges on their profile, the crew badge has been properly updated and another badge for how old your account is.
Quests
DP is now gained primarily through Quests, including Survival and the new Extraction mode. These are being refined, tested and added to, but an initial set is available.
Selling Items
Items can be sold for a price to the system (changes on a schedule) or on the market (see below).
Metal Values
Metals have a separate price fluctuation to most items. These are affected by the system’s internal price changes but also affected by player’s selling these metals to the system. If someone dumps a load of gold to the system, then the price will go down for a while. These prices are directly visible on the explore page.
Market
Items
Players can list items on the market for auction-style bids and/or buy now price. This allows you to list items for sale without having to find a buyer yourself.
Credit ↔ DP Exchange
Players can also buy/sell credits for DP. The price is determined either by what is currently listed or you can put in a buy/sell order for when it reaches a certain price. This is entirely player driven and so relies purely on people wanting to sell or buy credits.
Trading History and Counters
Trading has also been improved. Trade history is now properly preserved. Trades can also be counter-offerred. This means you can edit the trade request sent to you and that is then up to the other person to accept, counter or decline.
Removed
Shop
This is a temporary removal. The shop is being renovated so that it can sell items that are more likely to be unique compared to what you can get from a loot box or otherwise needed by players. Until then, it has been taken out.
Lifetimes
Item lifetimes are now completely removed from the systems and no such mention of them exists. Items are and will remain permanent.
XP Efficiency
XP Efficiency was removed and replaced by XP boost. The DP lost associated with XP efficiency has also been removed.
DP Gain Limit, Rewards
The gain limit has been removed, but so has the usual way to earn it. XP is earned the same as before, however, DP is no longer gained from things like completing a zombies round. Instead you now rely on selling items and completing quests to gain DP.
