It is connection issue, it seems like its a known bug (at least i knew qbout it before)
Also, next time, do not ruin gameplay balance with this bug. You killed hundreds of mobs and left others w/o farm. Gonna leave it be for this time as you probably reported bug, but next time kill as little enemies as possible and leave as soon as you can
