Yes, because I found this bug by accident and started using it quietly.

Yes, the ban was fair. I knew I’d probably get banned for this, but I foolishly hoped it wouldn’t happen. I was sorely mistaken. However, I want to emphasize that I didn’t use any cheats or modified clients (SS#1). It was the standard Steam client and a pure server bug.

It works like this: for example, you leave Survival mode in Rift, then quickly reconnect to Survival and immediately die upon logging in. There’s a small chance that you’ll instantly respawn after logging into Survival. If this happens, your coins will fall to the ground as a death penalty, but due to sync lag, they’ll also remain in your character’s inventory. For example, if you leave Survival with 50 platinum coins, you’ll die immediately upon logging in, after which you’ll instantly respawn. The coins will fall to the ground but also remain in your inventory. Then you pick them up from the ground, and now you have 100 platinum coins instead of 50. This doesn’t always work, it’s mostly random, a matter of luck, though usually you just die immediately for about 2 seconds after spawning in the Survival dimension, without getting any extra coins, only the ones you had before leaving Survival.

[Q4] Why should we unban you?
I was last unbanned two years ago, and I wrote from this same account. This is my second appeal on this Nikl account. Give me one last chance to get unbanned. This is my favorite server, and if I get banned again, I won’t write any more appeals, declaring it the end of my time on this legendary server. Because three bans is a lot. I’ll try very hard not to break the server rules again; I knew I’d most likely get banned. I’ll say right away that I don’t speak English very well, so there may be mistakes.

Because three bans is a lot. I’ll try very hard not to break the server rules again; I knew I’d most likely get banned. I’ll say right away that I don’t speak English very well, so there may be mistakes.

As long as you’re decent in terms of being a person (i.e. not overly rude) and not deliberately trying to exploit broken things on the server, you should be fine. Thank you as well for explaining the method, in the future write a bug report for problems like that. If it’s a big problem like a money dupe, you can also DM the staff group directly to keep it from widely being found out until it can be fixed.
