Pick any positive number
If that number is even, divide by 2
If that number is odd, multiply by 3 and add 1

Repeat the process with the new number until you find one that doesn’t end up at 1.

John rides 7.63 miles to get some groceries. He buys 1.523245 lbs. of potatoes and 4 packs of Lunchables. Find the surface area of the Sun in 1972 before the First Industrial Revolution. Also find the hex value of John’s mother’s hair before 1861.

6x=0.2

x=0.2/6

x= 0.03

8x= 0.03*8 = 0.29

Sun’s surface area could be taken as constant since that time because its only 52 years and for a star’s life, 52 year is nothing compared to the Millions of years that it can live for, So yeh, the Surface area of the sun hasn’t changed.

B) Hex value of John’s mother’s hair cannot be determined, since, Lunchables came into existance in 1989 and for john to consume it, we might assume his age to be 10, So, at the time of consuming the lunchable box, the year should be assumed as 1999, Now, for her mother, she might’ve been 25+ when john was born so we can classify the birth year of her mom as 1964.

The question specifically askes us about the year 1861 which is 103 years apart, so we can conclude that John’s mother wasn’t there.

If there is nothing, we can classify it as transparent and hex code would be non existant :smiley:
