[Q2] Did you break the rules knowingly?
I believe I did not know that the rule of political discussion also extends to the era of Nazism in Germany, and I also did not realize and not yet known that the Nazi regime itself was categorized as a political manner and I thought it was an extremist far-right totalitarian regime.

[Q3] Do you think your Ban was fair? If not, please provide a reason.
Yes, the ban was completely fair. Any names, titles, or people that connects to Nazism and anything from that era in Germany are very controversial, and I have done the latter by crafting the titles in DTP which I will not disclose or mention anymore.

I spent time to reconsider my actions and carefully wrote this appeal and not rush it entirely from the day I was banned until now to learn more about the history of atrocities they have committed such as war crimes, crimes against humanity and of course, the Holocaust. I now understand the weight and why these types of topics and titles I have crafted to be very inappropriate to the server hence why I was banned. From now on, I will not be crafting, mentioning names and people, and connecting anything from them.

Since the idea of crafting your own stuff in DTP makes it very prone to abuse such as spammy titles or inappropriate tags (as stated in the rules), I will be more considerate and think more carefully when creating custom cosmetics.

[Q4] Why should we unban you?
I believe I should be unbanned since I will take accountability for the things I have done and learn to become a better user on the server and interact with others in a more civil and matured manner, and i also believe it is appropriate for me to take a step back from the server for a few weeks until I have decided to play (I will still check on Phase chat here and there and vote for the server daily but will not play long-term such as an entire survival reset)

I will now be deleting permanently the (3) titles I have crafted in the DTP which if course will not disclose and start anew. I can provide the proof of deletion of these titles by screenshot or staff checking the DTP inventory if its deleted.

and in all honesty, I don’t deny the mistakes i have done and I completely atone for what i did. I love the server and have been a long time member since january of 2020 and until the pandemic era later that year.

I’m… confused on this part. If you thought (knew?) beforehand that the Nazi political regime was based on being this, why would you go out of your way to nod to them with custom cosmetics? Right down to watered down descriptions of what each part was, or changing your Discord nickname to match too? Wouldn’t knowing even the basics of what they did beforehand be enough to constitute “no, you shouldn’t talk about this on the server”?

Also on a different note that came up after the initial ban, why do you share login information with Worst:D? An IP address at least once, and a UUID at least twice, the latter of which almost never happens by accident

sorry for the confusion on my phrasing there, the reason why the descriptions seemed like i knew it is because I intentionally asked Chatgpt to summarize very short description, i was planning to never really put description in any of the cosmetics cause i was lazy to do so, but for the 1 credit payment, i changed my mind. I’m not the massive paragraph reading person so I indeed missed a lot, no, a ton of info about them(i knew that ww2 ended in 1945 hence the “until its collapse in 1945” which i also copy pasted). The ai said that the they were the official army of the regime i never really paid attention and simply copy pasted the short description without any mind, same thing goes for the N.S tag, it said that it was a strong ideology and national spirit, but now i researched about them in Wikipedia and google ai summary and read the more detailed information, then that’s when i really realized i messed up badly especially on the SS stuff there, the ai also put the sig runes on it so i also copy pasted it without any thought. That is really my fault there, very sorry for the confusion on phrasing my first paragraph there, i focused too much on the bottom half of the appeal.

Regarding the worst account, there was no bad intent here, I did indeed made the account just for the jokes, but the exact moment hit me when i joined, i remembered in the rules section for the server that any impersonation or pretending to be another person is extremely prohibited and bannable in some cases, so thats when I cancelled whatever i was doing and never chatted at all and did cancelled the joke i was planning to do, thankfully after that incident i went to quit afterwards and deleted the player name (i did this in mobile) and forgot about it after. i do confess that it was me, but im glad i remembered the impersonating rule in the server and halted my actions before it could end badly.

So… just to be perfectly clear, you knew about the specific Nazi related things by name and not what they did, then when you made your custom cosmetics themed around them you just threw them into a chatbot to ask for a description of them, also not checking what it meant at that point? Did I get that right? No basic research at all on your part?

I did lacked basic research which ultimately led up to me being very clueless with the context yet speaking confidently anyway which led up to a misunderstanding on my part, thus, the titles created.

I only know the broad things that most people know, but not the full picture or structure of what happened, like I only knew about what the SS did after researching carefully, but before that, my understanding was incomplete to the point where i couldn’t even clearly identify which groups were responsible, so when the bot said the short description of the “feared organization”, the first thing that came up to mind was “maybe they were part of a major army fighting on the battlefield” which is completely wrong for me to assume.

My understanding of the full extent of what they did stayed shallow. And to state how I got the said titles and such is lately I have been playing a game based on ww2 called hearts of iron 4, to summarize the game entirely, it is a strategy game where you go to war with other countries.
but how the devs approach the idea of ww2 is very censored such as avoiding any symbols and hate speech, not mentioning the H.C., removing any forms of repressions, civilians dont exist as entities, no moral aftermath, and as for the leaders, they only exists as “stat sticks” and static portraits, not historical actors with crimes, basically de-humanizing them to keep the game legal and playable worldwide, the reason my understanding was still shallow at this point.

And to add more on my part, I grew up in a country where history is taught to us differently than those living in the countries affecting ww2 the most, so what they taught to us was shallow as “NZ people are bad” without diving in as to why. But in all honesty, I apologize and i deeply regret my misunderstanding and sincerely apologize for the harm my lack of context may have caused.

Using the name of, claiming to be or hinting at your identity being that of another person is impersonation.

1. Impersonating other members of the community will result in a ban.
2. Impersonating those outside of the community, when considered by Staff to be malicious or fraudulent, will result in a warning and any further offence will result in a ban.
3. Impersonating those outside of the community when not considered malicious or fraudulent, and therefore for entertainment purposes, is permitted.
4. Registering a name that is considered impersonation will cause that account to be disabled.

I believe there was also a rule where crafting DTP cosmetics with bad titles and tags are mentioned, but i cant seem to find and quote it in the rules article, if need be, I will try to find it

I… assume it would be the naming rule? Since they’re attached to your name? Not really sure, honestly, we don’t have a specific foundation for that yet.
