it says i have 0 dp and 0 exp effiencency and i cant seem to find a way of gaining either
what do i do?

You can check the post here, once you gain dp, you can use it to refill your xp efficiency.
Also, dp will drain over time and if it drains to 0, you will start losing xp efficiency.
On zombies gamemodes, you will gain more dp the higher the round (usually on round 5 you will start to notice the dp gain) and make sure you’re playing on the certified maps.

i realised how everything else works as i have been playing for a while but its not allowing me to gain dp even tho i usually get past round 10 in zombies

Which map did you played on? You can only get dp on the certified maps.

mystic library , beach house , that one map where you are surrounded by ice (the one with the magic chest) and a few that i cant remember the names of

Mystic library and beach house doesn’t give dp.
The one with the magic box is called crystal caverns and I believe it does give dp.
You can check the list of certified maps in the given link and do /vote (name of the map) while in the zombies intermission.
You can also try to defeat duke fishron in pve for dp, Try and see if it works. If it doesn’t then I am not sure how to help.
