Well in my case i discovered it via reddit!, it was there for a time in the rules section, i never joined because i thinked it would be imposible due to version 1.4.1, but then i noticed that it has mobile support,so joined and, im here now!
There are other possibilites, maybe you just were bored and searched on google, discovered by stardew valley, asked in some forum etc…
Found it in a server list, when the mobile support sucked, apparently I made an account back then, then I forgot about terraria. I came back, and there it was on my server list.
I found it thanks to a friend who used to play zombies, after that I fell in love with the zombies minigames and later on with the weekly reset mechanic in survival, and now I’m banned xd.
Some years ago i used to play zombies and around this time i really wanted to find what server had zombies, since it was so nostalgic. I didn’t know what server had zombies but i looked in terraria-servers.com and i eventually found zombies again in dg. I have no idea how i originally discovered dg years ago though.
The first server I joined and stayed on was Teeria Legends for its SSC SEconomy Survival. I only went on DG occasionally for free items and to PvP. During 2014-2015, I also frequented Pedguin’s server and stayed on Panther’s for a while to play its SSC SEconomy Survival for quite a while. Besides this, I sometimes visited other servers including Jupiter’s, Aurora, Sambrook’s, and others I forgot about.
I was just looking up any interesting Terraria servers besides Ped and Dark Gaming caught my attention because of the name. Join year is becoming more of a blur since I pretty much forgot how long I played under my different name.
How long ago was this? There are more active mobile servers nowadays.
Mobile was updated to 1.3 on August 2019, allowing for cross-platform compatibility on Terraria servers for the first time. PC was updated to 1.4 on May 2020, and Mobile updated to 1.4 on October. During the interval between May and October, mobile players could not join PC servers.
Terraria One, Eternia, Rencorner, and a few more servers are active and compatible with mobile.
Check terraria-servers.com
Any server on version 1.4.0.5 is compatible with mobile. Some servers on “version 1.4.2.1” are compatible with mobile because they are split up into multiple server instances, and some of those server instances are running on version 1.4.0.5 and others are running on version 1.4.2.1 (note Dark Gaming).
Well, I joined when you could still see other players in the Items dimension and when in that same place had a white background rather than what it is now…
Probably over a year ago because I never knew about the forums when I joined.
When the server switched over to 1.4, unallowing mobile to join, I kind of left the server until the 1.4 mobile update. When I came back, I saw that some things had changed!
At that time, the Zombies Gamemode never worked for me…
