[Q2] Did you break the rules knowingly?
Well, I think it is obvious, that playing with cheats is not appreciated by other players and administration of the server, but I thought that there would be a place for a cheater in survival world. I do not play PVP, because cheating there really annoys other players. I will explain later why I was playing with cheats.

[Q3] Do you think your Ban was fair? If not, please provide a reason.
I think yes, the ban was fair and based on the rules of the server.

I really hope you will unban me. But I think after everything I said - it would not be possible:((( Now I will explain why I was cheating and where did I get the cheats.
The reason why - because there is a problem with my device. I am playing from iPhone SE 2016 and it has some problems related to its display. Firstly - if I press it a little display moves a little up and down and that is a reason for “ghost touches”. because of them I literally cant move. Like Imagine such a situation: I am in the cave and want to jump to the right, but when I move the joystick to the right the ghost touch moves it to the left and I fall to the cave, fall damage, death. Secondly - when the phone heats the display does not really respond to the touches and I just stand on one place to wait until the phone cools down while hostile creatures like zombies or skeletons just eat me. It is also a big problem. That were the main reasons why I decided to play with cheats, just because I cant play otherwise, just dying every second is, believe me, not cool.
Now about the source of the cheats. I tried to find cheats online, but did not succeed cus I have an iPhone but I am a low level hacker, focused on binary exploitation and so I know the assembly programming language. I decided to reverse engineer terraria and find the instructions that decrease hp. I found them, made the do noting and re-assembled the binary and wow, it really worked. After that I stopped dying (almost, cus there is still a way to kill my character in game), and then (it was september 2025) I found your awesome server. I really loved It, I was playing Zombies and today I decided to go to survival for the first time and immediately was caught with cheats :((( I know it is bad, I know it may really annoy other players and I am really sorry for this, but please, understand my pain of playing without this modifications. I am playing terraria for 9,5 years for now and I really love this game and its community. I hope you will be loyal with this incident, I will try my best not to use the cheat, but it is likely to be impossible. I promise, when I will buy a new phone I will stop cheating and will play just like others.
There is no way of playing on pc for me, because my macbook is currently in the repair center and it is impossible to play terraria on old ASUS Eee PC 1015 Px laptop with Debian installed.

This implies that you’ll continue to use hacked clients if you are unbanned. Please clarify further.

Well, I use cheats to balance the faulty display. If you have any ideas about the solution for balancing the display problem, please let me know

Your movement didn’t seem impaired. You jumped at opportune moments and correctly swung at enemies, only stopping when you remembered that you had a godmode cheat enabled.

I’m having a difficult time believing that the faulty phone display is to blame here. I think you were simply using hacks to gain an unfair advantage over everyone else.

Well, thats not true and that was not an aim at all. I am cheating not to gain any unfair advantage but just to be able to play. If you need proofs of the faulty display problems, I can send you some screen recordings in the singleplayer. I dont have another phone to record this shit but believe me, it happens often enough to be a serious problem. I can send you any proofs in dm in discord, or here. About my last message - I thought if I have cheats in survival, nobody will be angry at me butI was really wrong, I am sorry. I want to play without cheats and I want to play on pc, but if only I could…

Again, gaining advantage over other people was never, never my aim. I just want to play normally just like others do and I really hope you will understand me.

Also I saw those recordings with my godmode in use and I would say, that at that moment phone did not heat up yet, because it was night and I set the brightness to minimal and white point almost to minimal, just to see where Im going so it was playable at that time.

Please unban me if possible, it is hard enough to play on such phone to be balanced for me. I have been playing terraria for 9.5 years now, and I loved 1.2 version, It was using not that much of system resources so it was possible to play it without those problems.
Again - if any proofs are needed I can show them in discord.

  4. Do you understand that if in the future you break any of the rules that you were banned for already, that you will not be able to appeal again (unless the ban was a mistake or due to extenuating circumstances)?

  1. Yes, I do understand why it was stated. Because people hate unfair play and gaining advantege over other people really angers them.
  2. I dont understand how can I avoid them, because when I disable the hacked client terraria becomes unplayable for me. Especially in pre-hardmode without wings and flying mounts. Especially in master mode. I am being killed by everything, and it is not a skill issue, because I am playing for 9.5 years now.
  3. Please help me resolve the display problem - any solution and I will NEVER break it again.
