Hano 's Appeal

[Q1] Provide the Ban link or if none, the reason
Link: Ban

[Q2] Did you break the rules knowingly?
Well, in a way, word spam is prohibited in Serves, but despite it being the first time, I join the dark gaming Discord, in a way, yes, but I didn’t expect a permanent ban, I expected something a few days ago

[Q3] Do you think your Ban was fair? If not, please provide a reason.
In fact, I was spamming the chat, from others’ point of view, yes, but from my point of view, I was wrong, I may have been annoying in the chat, sorry, so honestly, getting a permanent ban was a bit too much, you know?

[Q4] Why should we unban you?
Because I learned my mistakes honestly I may have been annoying in the past but now I want to change so please unban me that’s all I want, you really don’t want to unban me but read please

It wasn’t just spam, it was also very inappropriate language on several occasions:

There was also some other stuff like ignoring warnings you were given, which is why the ban was put up.

So besides the spam, stop with the sexual language and similar while you’re playing. That’s the other big thing, the spam was much smaller by comparison. Both were still against the rules but the sexual language was much more prevalent and what you need to not do to play on the server, sound good?

OK I understand I don’t know why it was funny at the time anyway if you can give me a second chance I won’t make these mistakes again

Alrighty.

Can you read the rules and quote the rule(s) you broke? Do this in a new reply, don’t edit your appeal. If you do not know how to quote the rules, read the guide How to quote the rules.

If you do not identify the right rule(s) that you broke or you do not know which ones you broke, I can make it clear.

I ended up breaking rules 1. Do not be disrespectful to other members. This includes any form of harassment, racism, sexism, passive-aggressiveness, etc.
4. No deliberately low-effort/quality posts, including spam, emoji spam, meaningless messages that de-rail chat, one word messages, etc.

Honestly, I didn’t know emoji also caused spam bans
But coming back to the subject, I ended up making a lot of mistakes regarding the rules.
How is the process of analyzing my ban?

Read the Terraria server rules linked in my previous reply. The Discord server rules aren’t the ones being referred to here.

1 Spam
Spam is not tolerated in the chat. An anti-spam plugin is in use on the server to control spam while limited moderation is in effect; however, spam is punishable by Ban if the spammer shows no reluctance of future spam.
6 Religious, sexual, political or other
Religious, sexual and political or other related divisive discussions are not to be held within the server. These create divides between players and/or are not suitable for the Terraria audience. At least one warning will be given as long as such a discussion does not turn into a violation of S1#4.
According to the rules of the chat, these are broken, except for religion

Are these the only rules I need to mention?

Those are the right rules, but the wrong method of showing them. They need to quoted, not just copied and pasted. If done right it should look something like this:

so should I talk about my mistakes right after “mentioning” what rules he inflicts?

We’ll get to that eventually. For now, just worry about quoting the rules you broke. You already got them right, it’s just the formatting that needs fixing.

1#rule Spam that generates meaningless words or repeatedly is considered spam despite the server having blocked it from spam, yet this one rule cannot be tolerated, the second rule 6 in which talking about any kind of thing induces sexuality indiscreetly or directly something will be banned talking about pornography sexual jokes or the sexuality of others

Well I mentioned them, I mentioned important parts of it in my case here, well now I should talk about my past actions inflicting these rules, right?

No, we’re still unable to move on because you need to directly quote which rules you broke. That hasn’t been done in the way I showed and described previously. Please get to that when you’re able to.

So I just need to say, look, I said that, I broke that rule without saying everything about the rule, but just mentioning like that, I couldn’t do it because it was spam, like, is that what I understand or think I understand?

No. You need to quote the rules broken, which hasn’t been done yet. As mentioned previously, you got the correct rules that you broke (spam and religious, sexual, political or other), but because you didn’t format them correctly we cannot move on with the appeal until you do. There’s a guide I linked previously for how they should look.
