Logic sensors are not banned. imo, timers(especially when combined with actuators) is not the best mechanism. Also generally it’s rather useless in this case, the geyser activates anyway when a player hops over it
iirc, geysers only activate if you step on them or if they are wired to a source, having the geysers activate if you go above them basically means its impossible to get over until you get bundle of balloons/slimy saddle on this map.
anyway, I redid the locations to prevent easier camping.
Except it isn’t impossible to get over—Geysers, like any other trap, have a cooldown after use during which they cannot be activated. It’s as simple as triggering it, waiting out the blast and walking on through. While it’s theoretically possible to make an infinite geyser wall with several geysers (possibly on a Teal Pressure Pad / Dart Trap timer?) it’d require a fairly large number of Geysers and the height would be heavily limited due to having to place the Geysers below each other.
I was thinking more that geysers would only trigger once you were right above them. You would be forced to take… wait I see your point. My inntelajense is supreem. 0.o
Alright! I have put in all the armor, weapons, ammo, accessories, enemy spawns, player spawn, life, mana, etc… the map is physically and command-wise finished!
I also found a couple unbalanced weapons in the mix, so I changed and modified a few, so don’t be alarmed if you find a mage weapon or two with completely different stats than what is on this application.
Nerfed heatray, spirit flame, and orange zapinator dramatically. They were all wayyyyy too op for their own good and pretty much crushed everything on-tier.
Nerfed Ballista Staff slightly due to being too overpowered in rounds 12-19. Paladins for some reason seem to decrease their dps.
Buffed Vampire Knives (yoyo), The Horseman’s Blade, Laser Machinegun, and Vortex Beater due to being too underwhelming and nearly useless anywhere past round 12.
Removed gel from starter equipment in Hellbat due to unforseen exploits involving the chest used to grant the player gel upon choosing the class.
A lot of minor buffs and debuffs I can’t remember.
Added new ammo for flamethrowers, Hellstone. Hellstone deals high damage and fires Inferno Fork projectile.
Added new ammo for flamethrowers, Pink Slime Blocks. These blocks fire Flower of Fire projectile.
both are found in Ammo Chest #2.
Also, when is public testing @Tejdxa ? the map is finished unless I come up with new ammo ideas. Everything is balanced as far as I can tell, though testing may be required to see if things are actually balanced and to see if the map is possible to beat.
