Now that Beetle’s tournament is (finally) over there will instantly be a new one because I exist. As the title implies, for this tournament you have to play on an anonymous character without giving away your identity. This is mostly just for a fun change as to guessing who’s who, but also to relieve some tournament-publicity stress for players. The rules are as follows:
- You must play on an anonymous character with an entirely unrelated name to your own or others’ normal account name (DO NOT make a new account).
- You can guess at other’s people identities, but please do not actually ask them who they are, since that defeats the entire purpose. If someone asks, do not respond, even if you want to put a different person’s name (due to impersonation rules as well as overall conduct).
- Any moderators who might want to join are free to check IPs, as is their right, but please do not reveal any alts’ identities unless they are breaking the rules or similar.
- You can use any items for the tournament as normal in PvP.
- Matches can take place in Gamemodes or PvP (your choice). First to 5 is normal, but you can do more than 5 if both players wish.
- You will not know the identity of your opponents.
- Players can reveal their identity after the entire tournament is over, but they don’t have to.
- The winner will be revealed at the end (by me).
IMPORTANT: TIMES
The tournament will start on Friday December 3rd (there is no point in making predictions before it starts, since you would have no idea who anybody is. Instead of a traditional tournament all-at-once matches, the tournament will span the entire month of December. When you participate, you should come online at least one of these time periods daily (preferably) or multiple times a week:

hopefully the timestamps work (day doesn’t matter, only time). To be clear, tell me the time in the 1/2/3/4 order, not the actual time that is shown in that stamp. You can have one or multiple times to be available at.
ALSO IMPORTANT: SIGNUP INFO
Sign up by Dec. 3 by sending the following to me through Discourse private message or DM TripleEmerald#7794 on Discord:
-Your alt’s name (for me to put in the bracket in Challonge)
-The times you are available for the above timestamps
-I will put the list of people who have signed up and their preferred times on this post. You can see what time you should come on to meet them without having to coordinate yourselves (DO NOT coordinate yourselves, asking each other publicly would completely defeat the purpose).
If you never show up at any of these times and/or are unable to complete a match for any reason, either DM me to have yourself be disqualified or I will disqualify you for inactivity. If your opponent is not showing up also please DM me.
Also extremely important - SCORE INFO:
When you are finished with a match, type the name of your alt, the other player’s alt, and the score in ONE message in public game chat while on your alt. This is so I can view it from Phase and record the score in Challonge. If you do not do this, your score cannot be recorded. Do not reveal any scores from your public account.
Prizes:
1st place: 2.00 Credits (or two custom titles/tags of your choice that I will trade to you)
2nd place: 3,000 DP
3rd place: Tryhard title and 500 DP
