[Q2] Did you break the rules knowingly?
not at all, i didn’t realize the “advertising” category in the server rules included “publicly posting something close to a foreign ip address” part in it. and i mean’t it as a mediocre and bad joke, because someone was slightly leaking oknoob16’s location by saying he lives in Asia on something like that. I also made the numbers for the thing by spamming my digital keyboard at random spots, not knowing it was actually close to an ip address. I seriously didn’t mean to do that and i am truly sorry for that :frowning:

I didn’t mean to be accurate with my absolutely vile joke. i seriously am sorry for whoever’s IP address that i accidentally advertised.

I am truly sorry for the crimes i have committed against the server rules. And i will read the whole server rules topic so i will not accidentally repeat a mistake like this.

(P.S: seriously i really did just type a bunch of random numbers in chat, i really didn’t mean to make it close to an actual IP :c)

Just be careful in general when posting at the chat anything that is an IP adress or could look like,
as it still could be someone else IP even if it was jokingly

Can you read the rules and quote the rule(s) you broke? Do this in a new reply, don’t edit your appeal. If you do not know how to quote the rules, read the guide How to quote the rules.

If you do not identify the right rule(s) that you broke or you do not know which ones you broke, I can make it clear.

I broke this rule and i am very sorry for it. i didn’t know that IP addresses were included at the time, but i have re-read the rules to better understand what not to do in the server.

  2. Do you understand how you can avoid breaking them again?

  3. Do you agree that you will not break the same rules in the future?

  4. Do you understand that if in the future you break any of the rules that you were banned for already, that you will not be able to appeal again (unless the ban was a mistake or due to extenuating circumstances)?

1: i sent a message that was really close/related to a foreign IP address.

2:i shouldn’t have lots of numbers and periods (or something that can be confused with an IP address) in any of my messages.

3: yes. I am truly sorry for advertising a (possibly very real) IP address. And i will try to not do it again in the future. ):

4: indeed, it would be fair to be permanently banned after saying that i wouldn’t repeat it in the future. and then repeat it again, hence lying about the previous statement.
