In DG’s rift if you come already logged in you see the TerrariaChatRelay text.

Are you sure that it is from DG? Did you connect to a different server before connecting to DG?

No, it appeared when I opened the game, then entered DG.
Edit: Wait, I remember: I mistakenly clicked on Leafos in my server list then while connecting I pressed cancel then entered DG.

Is this the equivalent of the one bug in Minecraft where you can connect to two servers at the same time and cause weird things to happen?

Ok that makes more sense. There’s a “bug” in the Terraria client where if you don’t get “in-game” when connecting to a server, any chat messages it sent to you are displayed the next time you do. So it likely sent that message before you fully connected and then Terraria finally showed it when you fully connected to dg.

TerrariaChatRelay is basically just another chat bridge plugin between the terraria chat and a discord channel(s), of which you might’ve seen something similar on T1 or other servers. It is essentially what Phase is to DG, but on discord.
I once got the idea of suggesting its use on DG after using it on a personal server but in some “relatively recent update” for it, support for the main feature I had in mind has seemingly been removed due to abuse(unsure about that), being that you could edit formatted messages in its config to ping roles/people. That briefly came up in https://forum.dark-gaming.com/t/discord-role-that-pings-players-when-a-boss-is-summoned/8198/14, but is obviously a dead thought now if support for it has been removed.
