I have some suggestions about dtp but depending on what feature freeze is they may not work so im just wondering what dtp feature freeze is.
Is it dtp will not be changed or dtp to other server interactions (like the terraria server) do not work

As far as I know, it means any suggested features that require additional coding/development to implement will not be accepted. If it isn’t just value tweaks(i.e changing the trading fee for whatever reason), it is unlikely it will be accepted because of how much of an ancient architect the current system is.
Basically, updates to the DTP beyond patching are most likely never happen unless someone picks up the new version until its release.
