Fun but ultimately useless Terraria trivia: Smooth Marble blends with everything. Try placing it. Put it next to, say, a Stone Accent Slab, or a Bubble Block. Maybe even a Smoke Block or Living Fire. It blends. No accent lines, no interruptions in textures. This one block was, for some reason, given the ability to merge seamlessly with any material in a way only sloped blocks can otherwise accomplish. Whether it doesn’t remotely bother you or drives you endlessly insane, this property is to my knowledge exclusive to Smooth Marble Blocks and nothing else.

This is ultimately useless, of course, because there is absolutely no gameplay effect: block blending is entirely cosmetic. But it’s an interesting bit of trivia to know, and definitely a warning for aspiring builders to keep in mind.

Heh, another few pieces of ultimately useless trivia:

sunflowers generally brighten the screen, making the evil biomes and graveyards brighter and cancelling graveyards to a certain extent.

Also, bone glove does about 20 damage, not mirroring weapon damage. I honestly thought it mirror held weapon damage this entire time.

Finally, giving Pirate Staff, Spider Staff, or Deadly Sphere Staff modified projectiles will result in a wide variety of projectiles due to the staff going on its normal AI and selecting a projectile (minion sprite/projectile) within a certain range to summon. If you place this selection elsewhere, you get a lot of random bullshit.

Fun but ultimately useless Terraria trivia: The Portal Gun has a few effects when held, the most obvious of which is the increased max fall speed and acceleration. However, there exists a second effect, which is the removal of air resistance: when in midair, the player will not lose horizontal velocity. This is fun, but (say it with me) ultimately useless, as these effects just do not have practical use in the post-Moon Lord endgame with its super wings and Gelatinous Pillions.

Also I would say the same thing to you Zenitsu, how did you get here? I last saw you crying after a solo mission.
