Trading System - Feb 2024 Update

Fixes

• Fixed obtaining Crew with steam not working
• Updated TradingSystem top-left link to the proper link
• Updated tinv link
• Removed Credits link in Navigation Bar - these are no longer purchasable
• Removed useless Cmd items from the list of possible items that can be listed in the Shop and given out in Loot Boxes
• Removed unused weapon stats entries

Changes

Small quality of life changes were made:

• Vote reward is now always 1/4 of total XP between the starting XP of your current level and the next, meaning you will no longer get low XP rewards from voting if you are close to levelling up.

  As you can see in the below image, I have 3373 XP needed to level up, but the vote reward is now 101,250 XP instead of 843 XP

  

• Reduced prices of Titles/Tags in the Shop

Nice, this will help with the recurring issues that people have when trying to get Crew. It will also help with trying to get new titles/tags and makes metals less confusing.

I can’t log into DTP after this update dropped.

I’m stuck at this, my information is correct, however whenever I press submit nothing happens.
Tried refreshing the page, going off and on and reloading my browser, it just doesn’t work. (firefox)

On the contrary, it’s in a better spot than it was back in my days

More specifically, the days where you could reliably possess 499% xp efficiency, meaning a vote a day meant a free level each day. Being give-or-take four votes and therefore four days per level like it is now is obviously a notable difference.

Either way, more incentive to vote is a good thing; It’s what keeps you at the top of the terraria servers list if nothing else. With something else, it gives a reasonable level creep. I don’t think four days of commitment, even if it is as simple as logging into a website every day to vote, is an egregious front on balancing.
