Balance Update #1
In the latest Trading System update a new feature has been enabled. This feature will auto-spend your DP to maintain your efficiency at its current percentage. If you lose all your DP, then your XP Efficiency will drop to 0%. With this update, it’s possible to keep yourself in-game with 100% XP Efficiency without having to pause or momentarily restore it.
Gain and Loss Rate
The gain and loss rate of DP has also been altered. The original spend was 200 DP per 1%, amounting to 20,000 DP per 100% refill. This has been reduced to 50 DP per 1%, amounting to 5,000 DP per 100% refill. This is four times cheaper than the original amount, but the ratio has been maintained. All DP gain constants (DP per mob damage etc) have been quartered, which effectively means that the gain to loss ratio has not changed. The goal of this update is to reduce the fluidness of gaining DP, which caused an issue when a few members manage to gain enough DP that the system banks are dry.
Also in this update, which is still being amended, is NPC Multipliers. The aim of these multipliers is to adjust the rate of gain of both DP and XP based on the NPC that is being targeted. For example, the destroyers body has a huge decrease in DP gain to account for the clumping that enables anyone to kill it within seconds. Harder bosses and mobs will be adjusted to give out more XP/DP.
Balance Update #2 (2017-09-21)
System Bank Balancing
To avoid the repeated low or empty balances of individual banks, the bank balancing mechanism has been changed to attempt to level out the distribution among the banks so that they all have roughly the same amount. This means that if you drain all the DP from one system bank and then you spend it all, your system bank will, given no one else was involved, have all that DP back. This means that you can stick to one Dimension as long as you are using the DP, otherwise you will need to switch.
