I think every table in the house is made of wood, only the kitchen countertop is made of granite.
The kitchen counter has a multitude of extra storage space and household applicances related to kitchens and cooking, like a cappuccino machine, a microwave, and an air fryer. The actual tables are usually saved for other purposes.
There are no chairs at the kitchen counter.

Ok one, nice explanation, but my grandmother has had 8 chairs at her kitchen counter for 20+ years
