System that detects if "caps caps caps" is put at the end of a message and warns users that anticaps-evasion isn't allowed either?

Why make an anti caps system, so also with blocking players, when you can simply receive a player’s message and always reduce it through ToLowetCase(), and all the text written by the player will be in lowercase

I think that would be dumb and restricting. There are quite a bit of things that need some capital letters, or where capital letters help make something better/more understandable.

You aren’t obligated to say something in full caps all the way.

  • If it’s attention/rage, that’s why it’s banned.
  • If you’re highliting something, it’s ok to do that in the first place.
Just be calmer when playing Survival lol

I understand why having full caps and using it for attention or rage is bad, but I was replying to Jl1mbo who said capital letters should be completely removed and always turned into lowercase.

In any case, you can check for the number of these letters, and if the number exceeds the limit, then turn all letters into lowercase

Does this count as caps?

The spore sac has the id 3336 and because of that there are 3 consecutive numbers it is seen as spam. Maybe it should implemented that four consecutive numbers are not spam to be able to use item displays like [i/s1:3333] without trouble.

Wasn’t sure if I replied to a too old topic but the suggestion was neither accepted nor denied.

I mentioned item ID spam due to consecutive numbers earlier in the thread.

Although this suggestion is still technically pending, it’s been essentially denied.

I mean, there are times when I used all caps (and got ignored due to that) but never for attention or raging. Well, I mean, most of the time I’m usually going “LMAO NO WAY” or “EXCUSE ME WUT” or just “LOL HAHA UNLUCKY” in Zombies if there’s a sick clutch revive from our fellow teammates or the annoying monsters casually sniping you from a distance. But, I can see that being abused in PvP or Survival… and probably not only Gamemodes in general.

For some reason, there isn’t (as much (?)) of a spam filter in Zombies as there is everywhere else. I don’t think I’ve ever been muted in Zombies.

This is true. Antispam doesn’t work in zombies because it handles the chat commands by itself. In theory you should still be able to speak even while you’re muted
