So, I’ve been wanting to play on the server for the past week, and I cannot join.
It does the rest of the things just fine, and then it says Receiving Tile Data… Complete!
I’ve waited for hours each time, leaving Terraria on in the background, and nothing happens.
I went to post here to get some help and see if anyone else is having this problem.

Hey i have le solution, either redownload Terraria or make a new character, both worked for me 
So, I’ve redownloaded Terraria a couple times and it’s still not working.
Does that mean I HAVE to make a new character?
And I can never use muh Trading Inventory for Limpie?

If you made a character with exactly the same name then I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to use the inventory again. I haven’t faced the problem myself yet, but I doubt that actually re-installing Terraria will fix it, its more likely that the character has a defect or the server/server connection (both on the servers side and on the clients side) is not operating as intended.
Limpie, you will just have to put in your username every time you login
/login
Or just make a char with the same name… like I said before
