On a similar note: How about we get a notraps variant with all traps and ores invisible (shadow paint) and all stone is shadow painted as well? I would suggest echo coating but since survival is not on 1.4.4 yet, it would be a good alternative to it.
Xenophobia is generally the fear of the unknown iirc, so yeah, basically that. The term referring to the dislike of people from other countries is a rather recent development.
