I don’t use it either because for some reason when I enter survival it changes to SSC and removes the favorite, not entirely sure why.

Yes, but it’s so that you don’t accidentally get rid of of them while you’re using them. Imagine playing PvP and then you accidentally drop your weapon mid - fight. That would be awkward, wouldn’t it?

Well, my guess is because favoriting is a client - side thing. The same thing happens with loading a loadout; all favorites on items are removed. Since new items are immediately shuffled in from something that isn’t a traditional method (e.g. Chest, picking them up) because of the loadout command, I think the command just remembers the items in their slot indexes and then applies them all to your inventory. Nothing about the favorites there because that’s bound to the player when using a specific item, I think.

That’s all just a theory.

No, what I was talking about is when I reply to someone, like I’m replying to you right now, the little “reply” sign at the top right of the post doesn’t show. I’m not on mobile.

The game devs never put it in the network protocol, so the server is unable to know whether an item is favourited as well as unable to tell a client that one is.

Oh, are you talking about this? I was confused earlier.

If your reply is directly below the parent post , the “reply sign” does not appears.
If your reply and the parent post are separated by a post or multiple posts, the “reply sign” appears.
