Remember my big bad Blanc Reply over at ‘Ways to Improve In PvP?’ Well here’s another one. Harder to defend and criticize anybody but myself, but here goes.
I have honestly never heard anybody call you an AI in the first place. Maybe this is in the discord…? Sorry if this is ignorant and people are just saying it underneath my nose -_-
I agree. I hate to say it, but calling yourself a demon doesn’t actually endear you to others. As Blanc earlier stated, roleplaying and giving yourself titles aren’t the best way to gain other people’s appreciation. I know this sounds totally hypocritical, by the way.
Well yeah, but I have the same situation. I’ve gone through this topic, and I will commentate more on the same subject as I go on.
That’s the thing- on the internet you pretend you aren’t human. This is what commonly causes a brick wall in relationships online. It’s like dating somebody irl then randomly saying you’re a furry.
I both agree and disagree with this comment, I know Glasia is a human and that they don’t mean to minimod, but judging from the reports, it seems that Glasia works around the clock reporting people in chat. This in of itself isnt bad, but the fact that that seems to be the only thing you do on the server most of the time is probably not a good thing.
Everybody has weird playstyles in PvP. I can bet that every single one of us has a little hidden gem they use in PvP that may seem strange to everybody else. My personal gem is Blood Thorn (dont nerf it pls Blanc).
This sntire post is unfortunately true, except the ‘minimal amount of toxicity report’ part. Racism and s*xual language isn’t tolerated here, and we owe Glasia for reporting all those morons who somehow think that’s socially acceptable. On the other hand, I am just starting to realize it (I’m weird, so I don’t tend to notice other peoples’ own weirdness), but most of the posts you make are off-topic and emotionless. I have seen several times that you randomly enter a conversation, say something really strange with a weird style of typing that depicts no emotion, ask something strange, then leave for days at a time. That kind of conversation is really strange to the majority of people, and I’ve found in previous environments (don’t ask me about my past, I prefer not to reflect on it) that this sort of speech alienates you and makes you seem more socially awkward. Again, forgive me if this is totally hypocritical. I haven’t seen any of your memes, though. Probably on discord
The formalities are kind of strange, I will admit. Every single post you have is formally written, shows no emotion, is often a bit impersonal or strange, and has a weird writing style. Again, russ has a point. Be yourself. Unfortunately, life is about social interactions these days, and those interactions can say a lot- or absolutely nothing, in your case.
I wouldn’t tell you to curse more or anything, but it does display less formality and emotion. If you don’t like swearing, don’t say it though. As russ previously said, dont say or do certain things just to get a certain reaction or approval.
I can nearly guarantee this isn’t how you act in real life. Unless you happen to be one of those LoL players who ‘haven’t seen the sun in years’ (yea, those ads for LoL are annoying), most people don’t behave like that irl.
yes. DOWN WITH PUNCTUATION
Solorion, being a 12 year old in an abnormally religious household, I can tell you that is exactly what you don’ want to do. Glasia needs to learn by themself how to behave in public and online, and not have some biased dude tell them how (hate to break it to you, but no matter how neutral you think you are, everybody has biases that influence how they socialize).
See above. Professional socialists (is that what you call them? don’t flag this for political language) are better teachers about social interaction than most, but that doesn’t mean they know everything about socializing online. Once again, just be yourself and talk how you talk online. I actually have a slight western accent that comes with improper grammar at times. This kinda automatically reflects in my typing, and (I’m pretty sure) it makes it so people know I’m a person with emotions.
Yeah. Same here.
Unfortunately, these two sentences alone show zero emotion. They are an improvement (I have found that improper grammar and use of texting slang shows this humanity), but they don’t display anything.
Heh, I can’t even understand irl people emotions. Consider yourself better at that than me.
Remember that this post isnt meant to insult or offend anybody. I am simply stating my opinions, and if you get mad, get mad at the people who i’m quoting. Don’t kill the messenger pls.
