It’s been half a month and it’s still stuck.
I might honestly quit playing I’m in college and have just to much work, and I’ve been playing Minecraft instead, if no one sees me for a while I have taken my leave.

That’s totally fine and normal.
I only play Terraria 1 or 2 hours once every few weeks, and I usually just browse the forums.
There’s no reason why you should feel bound to one game.

I’ve actually known about a glitch with title and tag lifetimes. They only wear down when youre on the server and when you leave, the lifetime of the items goes right back to being full again such as my (the Gracious) tag at a default 5hr.
When on the server and I check it, it’s time is down. When I leave the server and check the tag again, it’s back to its 5hr of lifetime or 4hr 59m.

It’s not a glitch, lifetimes are currently deactivated.
Fofle will find and implement a new system for lifetimes, so will be back up and running once that happens.

Yes, right now lifetimes are deactivated.
However, there was a glitch that allows you to bypass lifetimes. I think that was what Papyrus was referring to.

Partly yes. It would reset the lifetime to full whenever off the server
