/selfname was replaced by /nick. If you see someone with a name like this:
then that person is using a nickname.

What name should I provide in the reports if persons with names like that break the rules? The one seen on screen or the name without the #01?

Don’t think you exactly have to. IIRC, # is now black listed in names, all people who had # in their name had been transferred to new accounts, i.e. Legolas#1

It’s not blacklisted yet. Legolas wanted to use a nick always, but there’s still some issues with them that need to be resolved before that.
