Moon Squid's 2nd Ban appeal

[Q1] Provide the Ban link or if none, the reason
Link: Ban

[Q2] Did you break the rules knowingly?
No, i did not.

[Q3] Do you think your Ban was fair? If not, please provide a reason.
Yes, ti can see exactly why the ban was put in place.

[Q4] Why should we unban you?
Because I never purposefully broke the rules. i didnt intentionally change the fire rate of my cannon. i was going to reinstall, but then i thought, since we cleared only 1/10 of skeletrons hp in the full night, why not try to beat skele? so i did, and during the fight i was banned.

I don’t believe that these statements can coexist. You claimed you didn’t purposely break the rules, instead your game had glitched out as a result of your computer running the game slowly:

Despite that, your game was somehow running perfectly fine during a Skeletron fight, with no signs of a laggy client whatsoever while only having 4 total Fallen Stars in your inventory.

For that, first, an image of your inventory from a report provided at 5:24 A.M. UTC (16 minutes before you were banned). Note the 4 Fallen Stars:

And despite that ammo limitation, you managed to fire significantly more than 4 during the fight:

After you were banned, I checked your inventory again. There were still exactly 4 Fallen Stars and no method of ammo conservation.

Taking rough guesses off of messages from Phase, there was a 47 minute time period between when this “bug” originally came up and when you were banned (specifically, 4:53 A.M. UTC to 5:40 A.M. UTC). In these 47 minutes, you were still online on the server, meaning you never left to reinstall your game to see if that would change anything; hence, I don’t think you can be trusted back onto the server if you’d rather abuse a bug that you find instead of either fixing it if it’s something on your end, or reporting it if it’s on the server side.

The bottom line, though, is that your statements contradicting with what’s been observed by myself and others means it’s very likely that you were using a modified client on the server, and your statements were just to try and cover up your tracks. Given that this isn’t something you’re new to, this appeal is denied.
