Making hacked armor

In sitems the ability to create hacked items is very useful (exept that you cant keep your items) but why only hacked weapons? Why not hacked armor? Of course this would only be useful if you could keep hacked items

It uses a built-in game feature to modify them, it only supports exactly what it says on the sign.
