Make Ranged and Mage classes decent in Zombies

After playing this mode i noticed that melee and summoner are the only decent classes, ranged unfortunately sucks bc the ammo is so scarce and also very expensive to buy more (you literally spend 1000 points only to get like 70 ammo) this is really bad. Moving to the Mage part, apart of the mage weapons being so weak, the mana also ends very fast, making it so hard to kill zombies and get points to upgrade your gear. That’s all and I hope the admins/mods review this issue between the classes. :pray:

I wish to clarify few things:

  1. Map builders are responsible for balancing maps not admins/mods
  2. You probably have a certain map in mind when you are talking about melee and summoner being better than mage and ranged, and that’s usually either fault of map builder who balanced said map or your skill issue since the mage and ranged requires you to manage your resources rather than give you unlimited attacks as with melee or summoner.
  3. Enemies on later stages give more point being the reason as why ammo and mana is so expensive on mage and ranged.

I am happy you’ve made a suggestion, meaning you care and might try improving the game, but i suggest trying to make a map of your own and finding out why the classes can’t be balanced the way you want(playing more works probbly too just to a lesser degree)

The ammo issue wrt to ranged classes is a known issue. However, a fix for it isn’t easy due to any changes to the point system having ramifications for dozens of maps

As for the issue of weak mages, this is a per-map issue rather than a zombies-wide issue, and therefore, must be addressed with suggestions on a per-map level
