I just joined for the first time From a Link in a Discord.
I joined the server and had no issues, I just had to wait to register my chr.
I logged out Then A bit later Comeback to try Zombies But was Slapped with https://ban.dark-gaming.com/4973
Who is this person and why am I banned for someone else’s screw ups?

You should unban me Because I was never Here to be banned till just today its my first time here, yet I was banned 07/18/2020, I didn’t even own Terraria till a few days ago, my friend talked me into trying it and it was on sale.
Investigated this. By the looks of things the account Malakhi was banned again because someone logged into it, and your IP address matches that ban. Not entirely sure if that’s a false ban or not, I asked for help with it already but so far I haven’t gotten a response. So far though it really looks like you’re Malakhi and lying about it, so if that’s the truth then feel free to make a more honest appeal.

So your saying that when I logged in with My New Character LtL Fuzzy An tried to make my First account including this one on here. I got banned because my IP address Matches the ban of this Malakhi person from over 3+ years ago?
I don’t Understand, it sounds like he was either unbanned or you all messed up somewhere, because honestly with a as long as that persons been gone, hard to believe they are ever coming back.

No. There’s another ban entry that’s been put up with the original ban for Malakhi, and it matches your IP address. The character name on the ban is listed as “Malahki” which is why I’m skeptical as to whether you’re Malakhi or not.

Not the IP Address? What your saying is that. On top of banning “Malakhi” An entirely New ban was Added to the Original Ban, that Now Added The IP Address of “Malakhi’s” Character and any IP they tried to log in on with??
If that is the case. It sounds like anyone who joined the server and made a Character Named “Malakhi” Would be subjected to This ban regardless of it being the same person or someone else? I have a Cousin whos IRL Name is Malachi, and I think its a cool name, though spelled differently You still say it the same, hell I would totally name any character Malakhi or Malachi, just because its cool.
Yet it is to my understanding that Based on this conversation, ANYONE who made A Character named “Malakhi”
if they made any attempt to join the server This would be them and not me being subjected to this?
3-4 years is a pretty decent amount of time isn’t that extremally unfair and illogical to hold onto something as small, petty, and down right dumb regardless of what happened for all this time?

Any time Malakhi is logged into, the IP address is automatically banned under that ban link.
I mean, going off a very rudely worded note from the actual Malakhi that was banned on here, they did try to appeal. Anyone can. From what I could gather from the original appeal they straight up said they modified their game but they didn’t make it clear if they acknowledged that what they did broke the rules or not, so I dunno if it’s unfair given that they described how they modified their game with external tools/mods (which is against the rules).

I am sorry your trying to get a ban Appealed that is mine and not your responsibility. I don’t intend to comeback to these fucks so I Left it to die all these years and moved on to better servers and people.

I am Only back here to clear the air, and help you try there sever and fix this whole bullshit ban that is not your fault and I’m sorry. Be sure to follow the rules these guys are absolute asses and sticklers on them.
Given that they tried logging in to Malakhi while at your place, the system banned the IP address which is why you’re affected by it.
This ban appears to be applying to you unintentionally. We have altered the ban so that it will no longer affect you. This will not affect your chances of any future appeals. This appeal has been accepted.
There were things that were pointed out that I missed originally when considering this appeal. After discussion and investigation the ultimate verdict is that this appeal is denied.
