Is using 1.4.5 Items(Mainly magic string) to get kills breaking the rules?

I heard that PvP doesn’t support 1.4.5 items yet, but

the ones I’ve confirmed are:

- Revolver

Click-spamming increases the fire rate by 50%

- Magic String

Allows you to fire a large number of high-damage yo-yos, and they have an incredibly long duration

- Magic Yo-Yo Bag

Same reason as above

- Ram Rune

Does not sync properly and causes severe teleportation glitches

This is probably (though I may be misremembering) because Crystal Serpent’s spread has increased, making it easy to deal burst damage

There are other weapons whose mounts and behavior have been changed (including swords and whips that, for some reason, don’t sync properly), but since I didn’t feel these had a significant impact on gameplay, I haven’t included them here.

Using 1.4.5 items is not against the rules. We only cover the immoral use of commands, teaming, and pvp-logging.
Then again, if others complain, then I would advise abstaining from using the weapons & accessories mentioned and talk to Solar, Kishou, or Blanc to have them altered.

Thank for reply

Where would be the best place to bring this up

Since they don’t play PvP, we can’t discuss this topic on Discord.

Why wouldn’t you be able to discuss this with them on Discord?

This is a bit off-topic, but what exactly do you mean by “team play”?

Here are a few examples:

1. Posting “**Join Team XX**” in chat to form a team

2. A one-person team formed solely to get the Spector set bonus

3. Posting messages in chat like **“Don’t attack me”** or **“Let’s be allies”** (without actually joining a team)

4. When a single player is actively targeted for attack (random spammers often find themselves in this situation)

In my view, 1, 2, and 3 are clear rule violations, while 4 is not.

I think it’s possible for someone who wants to defeat an extremely strong player (like Legolas) to avoid attacking other players and instead keep chasing that specific player.

I came to this conclusion because there’s a possibility that two people could do this simultaneously.

Not just in this case, but whenever I comment on weapon balance, they tend to ignore it without even checking it.

Without actually logging into the game,

I’m not blaming them; these issues are actually happening.

“Teaming” is classified as 2 or more people joining the same ingame team without the consent of others to do so.
It makes it heavily unfair to other players, who, as a result, have to deal with a 2v1.

That’s their fault if they choose to ignore you. In the meantime, utilize those unorthodox stats until they notice.

Additionally, because you’ve brought up the matter to them (assuming) on several occasions, there is documentation of the issue, and, as a result, it would be immoral for them to penalize you for it.

Lmao ok there’s a lot of work that needs to be done.

PvP manager is currently broken , and such, no changes can be made at all

Hence why last change was before 1.4.5

I thought the issue had been fixed…

Well, at least I now know that this yo-yo spam doesn’t violate the rules, so asking this question was worth it d(‘∀’*)
