[Q1] Provide the Ban link or if none, the reason

It was an impulse decision thanks to a stress response, but I knew what I was doing when I went back and contacted him.
[Q3] Do you think your Ban was fair? If not, please provide a reason.
Yes. I was severely mentally stressed and psychotic at the time, and the ban was made so that I could stay far away from the source of the drama and get some help. I literally compromised the safety of other human beings in many different discord servers solely because the word “troll” was uttered, which is stupid.
[Q4] Why should we unban you?
I have gotten said help. I no longer get offended at ragebait, as I have gotten desensitized to the internet in general, and I am in a stable state to not pull impulsive actions anymore.
Alternate account roleplaying will be gone, as well as all the shitty jokes I have made in this server years ago, and I have matured quite a bit to the point where I don’t police other people on how to behave anymore. Self-victimization is a bitch and a half to enable, so I don’t really care what anybody says about me and my being. I just want to shoot people with sniper rifles and Venus Magnums, not to drag them into situations they aren’t obligated or supposed to care about.
I’m… confused, is this a Discord ban appeal? Or is this for the main Terraria server? I vaguely remember some stuff about you and your name when I read over some of your old posts but not enough to call specific points. Especially since I’ve largely stayed out of the larger PvP scene for years.
I was Arcadia. This ban appeal is mainly for the main Terraria server, as I don’t see why it would be so imperative for me to also get unbanned on the Discord servers where the majority of my 2021 drama happened.
Besides, I have 2 university courses and a bunch of other irl stuff to care about, so I won’t be as terminally online as I used to be.
Accusing many of the innocent DG members in the PvP Lounge of being Shinden was not a well thought out plan. If anything, it only showed my impulsive and insane nature as of back then, and I am very regretful of falsely accusing nearly everyone I knew of that. That was just moronic on so many levels that I ended up having my brain slow down massively over the last few years as a result of the therapy I’ve received. I’ve stopped overthinking these situations since then and have ended up just blocking people whenever necessary. If they continue to contact me via alts, I just ignore them, as I can’t be bothered to deal with that for the sake of my time.
Hell, I don’t care if anyone insults me, either. I don’t need that fucking validation anymore when that emotional void only keeps hurting me more than the people that block me on Discord. You don’t need others to love you when the only one that can solve your problems is yourself.
Well, whatever the case is, we need a ban link to go off of if this is an appeal for the Terraria server. You got one of those from trying to join? I searched for “Arcadia” and “Grassman” and didn’t find any results.
Well, shit then. Terraria JUST updated to 1.4.5, so I can’t join the server to give any meaningful ban link. If anything, I don’t know where the actual ban link would be, as I avoided joining the server in the past few years to see what my ban message even looked like. I guess I’ll have to wait for the server to update to check in that case.
If you’re still on 1.4.4.9 you can try joining using that. There’s also 1.4.5 compatibility patches being tested that should allow for connecting on the newest version (albeit buggy since it’s not fully set up on the server) if you want to try that.
For other options, do you remember anything else about the situation from years ago? Names or anything that you might’ve been banned under besides what I already tried?
This is the error I recieved just now from trying to join on tModloader with no mods installed. Otherwise, I am somehow able to join DarkGaming without a ban message or link. I went by Grassman on my original account, along with Arcadia, RunickGlympse, Team Runic Boss, etc. The reason I’m able to freely join the server as is right now is because my family swapped routers and modems at least twice when I was banned, so I’d check “Team Runic Boss” if you’d like to find a ban link.
Searched all of those names, unfortunately I couldn’t find anything. I even found your old IP address from Phase messages and no results from that either, I’ll ask around to see if I can’t find anything else. Sorry that I couldn’t get anything yet.
Have you gotten any word about my old IP address yet? I could poke around my PC to see if its saved in any text file, but this thread is about to close, so I’ll bump in a comment of appreciation and say thanks for trying to help me out here.
Anyways, I went back and searched for any mentions of your old aliases or even just Team Runic mentions in staff chat. I don’t believe you have a ban link at all right now, given there’s no name of yours that seems to be linked to one and the last mention of any of your identities as far as the Terraria server was concerned was unbanning you without a ban link. One staff member who knew who you were at the time was willing to give you another chance (on the server) given the time that had passed, which seems good enough for playing.
Right. So I am technically allowed to play on the Terraria server again, right? Also, the lack of a ban link is odd, but I don’t really care about rejoining the discord servers again, so just in case I’m not mistaken by your past tense usage of “was willing to give you”, I am allowed to rejoin the Terraria PvP server, right?
Yes, you can rejoin and play, bans on the Discord server don’t carry over to the Terraria server. Though if it was PvP Lounge, we’re not officially affiliated with it anyways.
If you do want to rejoin the main Dark Gaming Discord at any point but you’re banned, let us know and we can look into it.
