This could invade personal privacy, that’s the reason it is disabled. Contacting people directly by email is a horrible idea no offense.

The feature does not reply to people via email, it replies to the topic via email. It does not show the email and shows a mail icon for people who reply via email

I have 2 mail accounts:
one for school/uni/doctors/travel
one for fun like gaming/social media/ads/to register
The 2nd one I named after the username I most frequently use.

For us in America, they just make every single student a email the year they enroll, and that is it, you can’t use it for anything else. Ofc it could be the same in Germany.

yeah, like for me theres one you do for personal stuff, one for my county, one specifically for my school, one for my college stuff, etc, I also have a duckduckgo address that just sits there to rot

I’m pretty sure the server has an email service of some sort that automatically sends these emails to users to notify them if someone replies to something they have posted, or to just update them in general. The intention of this service is not to allow users to quickly reply, I think it is simply to alert them to reply or attend to something they are involved with when they are able to. I could be completely wrong though, and if so disregard what I said.
