About the duel what is that thing even do
In game mode it better if a new game mode
Like a new version of zombie mode but have
Some the new update in 1.4.5 or class war from penguingames.fun or bedwar or skywar
Hanger game to make your server better than
Penguingames or tang.online

Dont compare us to penguin games please. we are better and always will be better. Despite the fact that we only have one gamemode currently, it is (subjetively) better than all of penguin games minigames. Also we have PvP and Survival, aswell as Pve and Build, so we kinda have lots of gamemodes.

I’m not sure what dual is, but I think it is kinda something that was switched to the pvp dimension, for 1v1 matches between players. you can /warp to the different dual arenas.

Most of the issues with making more gamemodes as of now are the following(from what I can tell)

  • many are already in pedguins, and are typically higher quality due to their larger developer count
  • DG is funded out of patreon and our dev’s own pocket(also why there’s a 10 lobby limit)
  • We only have 2 devs who are often busy with work/university

as for 1.4.5 new content being added, we just need map builders to get building and the last bits of bugs patched. (however, work/school is harassing most of us)

And for our relation with pedguins, we dont have a rivalry and are mainly just neutral(some of our regular players also play there).

and yea dual is exactly what it sounds like although most people just use pvp’s warps

Different servers do different things, for us, i believe the most unique things are zombies, dtp, forums, modified pvp and phase, which is enough to make each of the top few servers unique from one another

I agree, I’m not saying we have a rivalry with penguin games, I mean we are way out of their league (also, I think that you are wrong about them having higher quality games than us, they have a lot more staff, but our staff are the greatest). I hope this helped you @Blue_jay_Guevarra1.

I know your server is better Mr kitty cat but take some there minigame like hungry game or class war because I always fricking reported by other stupid player on penguin
Even I don’t do anything last time thy say I’m using god mode even not

Btw I just play in penguin when zombie mode have a s**** map or hacker also toxic to because other hacker make me lag and the item keep kicking me and I can not even made a account in the server when I made one it say your already log it but I still can not play survival it say you need to logged to majsbskaysbs why I can not made a account in the server sometimes I don’t play penguin because other player there play a sh** minigame

Duel is 1v1 just like people use warps for in PvP yes. It was intended for a few things:

  • Formalise the 1v1 experience, so players are automatically spawned at spawn points at the beginning of a round, score is tracked and maps are chosen just like zombies
  • Reduce lag since no other players are on the same server and no one is joining/leaving (which is associated with lag spikes) and with regional lobbies you could get lower latency than pvp itself
  • potentially provide a basis for ranking players

I would say it is less popular because:

  1. Generally, people didn’t know about it much before the new gamemodes map update
  2. It has previously been out of sync with pvp changes
  3. It is one step removed from pvp - it was intended eventually that you would be able to queue from pvp itselt

There have been previously other modes in progress, but none of them made it to release. Such gamemodes will require ongoing support so it is itself an additional burden, but to get to release one of the two of us devs need to commit a bunch of time to getting it over the line which we’ve not had available to us.

i’d say its less popular because you cant join duel at all. If you try to join from the gamemodes lobby it never brings you anywhere, and if you try it with /join duel it brings you to zombies for some reason
