Hello! There’s a custom world submission brought to you by @Legolas that he thought would be good to break out:
Dementophobia
CUSTOM PROPERTIES 🔧 (leave this closed if you want to go in blind)
- The world is painted gray
- All Life Crystal removed
- All statues removed
- Underworld is removed
- Two Dungeons are generated
- Dungeons are drunk seeded
- Granite and Marble drunk seeded swapped
- World have both evil biomes
- “No Traps” seeded
- More natural traps generated
- More chests are generated
- More ores and gems
- More floating islands
- Hardmode ores are generated in Pre-Hardmode
- The world contain 40 custom shrines with custom items (hardmode gear included)
Seems like it’ll be interesting, but I think it should also be set up at some point for people who want to play. What time would work best for you? Vote in the poll, I just took the two options Lego proposed and then added an extra “some other time” option.

Little update because the poll was confusing and rushed like the rest of the setup for the world. Not the world itself, I haven’t looked at it yet, but if you don’t care about the details just know that the final time is set for 2025-07-18T21:00:00Z→2025-07-25T21:00:00Z
For why it’s that time even though the current majority vote was to host the world immediately, here’s what happened. When I first made the post, I forgot to set a timer on the poll so that it would close automatically before the next (current) reset would begin, but the post was made and you guys were voting. I checked really late at night because I was up for far too long, and at that time there was a very slim win for the world to run on July 18th:
Alrighty. So I head to bed, wake up 3 hours before the reset, and at first July 18th had pulled ahead a little more. It seemed liked we had the 18th as our final target:
I was discussing that with Legolas, and we agreed to just leave it for next week. At least, until it flipped about half an hour later.
I left the decision to Lego, since… well, I think that makes sense. It’s his world and it’s for the community, the maker should always have some level of control, and he decided that if a larger majority came out of the votes then we’d run it immediately.
Even as of now the vote’s still really split, so… yeah, we’ll be waiting. For those of you who wanted to play this week, sorry about that. But Dementophobia will be running on July 18th.
