The story starts 3.7 billion years ago when 2 black holes 3.47 billion lightyears away from Earth crash into each other. However, since the universe is actually one of quintillions inside a multiverse with each of their space time dimensions laid out in a line, instead of creating a supermassive black hole, the resulting curvature of space time got stretched so far that it made a wormhole into another universe. The mere vacuum of space would act as exotic matter to keep the wormhole open. The universe that the wormhole connected was actually filled with what would be called an essence of light. The wormhole would be known as the hole of light, or the 1st portal.
However, essence is pulled by energy. The âLittle Shockwaveâ emitted by the merging of the 2 black holes pulled the light essence into the Life dimension (our universe) and the 1st shockwave (actually second but itâs named that way) would carry the essence all over the Life Dimension, however most of it was directed toward Earth, which would be the literal hub of portals and dimension leaks. Turns out the second shockwave that was mostly directed to the solar system of the sun by complete chance was strong enough to split some of the life dimension off into more dimensions.
During the first shockwave, the essence fused and became spirits, which holds artificial consciousness. These spirits would lead to unconscious things, like stones for example, becoming conscious. Since the spirits and souls were from another dimension, they could in turn break the laws of physics, in which they did and pushed the 1st shockwave faster than light while still being pulled by it. This allowed the 1st shockwave to reach earth 500 million years before it was supposed to.
The spirits and souls would then start adapting to earth, and merging with lifeforms. The spirits that donât merge with lifeforms took the core elements of earth. Some kept light, some became dark, some became heat, some became sea, some became rock, and some carried the core elements of life to become nature. They together created the Shadow Sword, a sword that holds all the good of the world⌠but it mysteriously disappeared and remained as an unfound ancient artifact.
However, when the second shockwave arrived, the wormholes attracted the spirits. Some spirits only went into some dimensions alone, some went with other kinds of spirits, and some went with the whole package of kinds of spirits. Dimensions with mixed spirits draw their power from their âmotherâ dimensions. The second shockwave also used the broken space time left by the first shockwave to break it even more. This created the different realms, or dimensions that duplicate, delete, and bend the universe so hard that they hold a new type of matter.
The force exerted by the creation was enough to cause plate tectonics on Earth to go haywire, resulting in the Permian Extinction. The spirits stayed in those dimensions for 165ma. 65ma years ago, a race of smart bug people would evolve, closely related to social insects. They find the portals and contain them, enter different dimensions, and build various buildings for the dimensions. These include the Flame Palace, the Ice Tower, the Earth Temple, the Air Sanctuary, the Sun Mansion, the Shadow Monolith, the Rock Stronghold, the Light Spire, the Sea Stronghold, the Plant Monument, the Cloud Pillar, the Snow Lair, and the Heat Fortress for storing weapons and armor. They also store stuff in the Cave of Wonder.
However, an asteroid hits earth and causes dark spirits from the dark dimension to escape. A legendary bug person named Escryox forges the sword of Light and manages to banish the dark spirits to the dark dimension. However no, itâs not the dark dimension, itâs the shadow dimension. This causes the dark dimension to merge with the shadow dimension, effectively making the dimension evil. A shadow dragon merges with the dark spirit to become a hydra. The bug people contain the portals in certain locations and close them.
However during the asteroid impact, many spirits warned the animals that something was coming. Most of the animals tried to escape by going through portals, allowing elemental spirits to merge with them. They became Spirit animals, who live and protect their dimensions. They also became smart enough to make complex tools / buildings. A few notable spirit animals are Dragons (from lizards), Griffins(from birds), and Sea Serpents(from mososaurs).
When these spirit animals die, their fossils become special and turn into shards. These shardsâ essence are used to craft legendary weapons and reopen closed portals. Some spirit animals would come back to earth or enter a new dimension, leading there to be different types of shards in a single dimension.
5ma ago, a problem of unknown causes makes all dimensions pretty unstable. 1ma years later, a massive leak of the light dimension spirits draws power from all the other unstable (except shadow) dimensions. The power creates another dimension, which holds a bit of power of all other âgoodâ dimensions, known as the rainbow dimension. This portal is not contained, so various life forms wander into it, including horses, more lizards, more birds, and a species of flower. A result of natural occurrences causes the portal to close itself though.
Due to recent evolution, the remcemins evolve in the Rainbow dimension during the first era. They establish small kingdoms and start competing with each other. The lead kingdom, Prailium manages to find the portal to the Life dimension and reopens it. They discover Earth and all of its beings. After using the technology of the bug people, they unite the rainbow dimension into one kingdom. They establish colonies on Earth and reopen a few more portals.
However, a rebellion against the kingdom manages to split the kingdom into 10 states. Overdue, the Shadow dimension then leaks into the Life dimension, adding evil lifeforms. The lifeforms then hunt down the remcemins and destroy their buildings. They flee to the ice dimension, where they then freeze to death, but at the last moment, a tiny group escapes to the life dimension and the rest of the portals close. These beings would then reproduce and evolve.
By 10,000 years ago, they figure : instead of wasting time hunting animals, why not just grow plants? This catches on. By 2,000 years ago, many civilizations catch their start. The only really notable one is Heirys, which is also the first civilization to have a government. But over time, wizards and runes learn that this way of government (dictatorship) is a very bad way to have a civilization ruled.
1,800 years ago, a rebellion begins. 54% of the population turn aginst the dictatorship. The rebellion was so big that a group of wizards decide to waste most of their magical energy on planting a tree, just to prove this point. âWe will not resign until this tree lays with die.â Just five months later, a war breaks out, splitting the entire country in two.
There was only one problem though. The anger and rage that the war caused didnât disappear; it just created a pathway for the Shadow dimension to get even closer to the Life dimension. By 1,700 years ago, a whole 1% of the Shadow Dimension had leaked into the Earthâs core, creating literal hell. By now though, the once great civilization had split in two and had had peace with each other.
This let them develop separately. Due to Magisiaâs (which yes is where magic gets its name from) freedom, development continued way faster there. Some wizards had discovered shards and started using them for experiments. However, unbeknownst to civilization, a wizard had created a portal to hell but kept it secret and destroyed it shortly after it was activated. By 1,000 years ago, the civilization of Slirikia had withered into countless cults manipulated by the Shadow dimension to bring evil to the world.
By 500 years ago, different regions of Magisia started governing themselves, slowly breaking it apart. There was a land of Jungle People, a land of Bee people, a land of Wizard people, and a land of Rune people. After the Wizard people and Rune people find their differences, every one of them hates the other group. As you would expect, war breaks out. As it is basically a tie, both sides scramble to find more powerful weapons. And the Runes just came across the first massive breakthrough in Magic technology; Spirits. Easily modifiable, easily bendable, and easily thrown to kill the opposing side.
Outmatched by the Runesâ power, the wizards realize they have to do something. And fast. Gibby & Gerald, two Wizard masters, discovered the Cave of Wonder. After seeing its immense power (like grass could grow there even without any sunlight), these two created a fort above it protected by unrevokable magic power, called the Fort of the Sun.
On the Runesâ side, it was realized that they were not throwing away some of their weapons, they were throwing away some of their consciousness. So they decided to make a portal to a random dimension (which happened to be the underworld) and dump all their bad weapons there.
Away from all this, the Bee people was experimenting with summoning techniques. They created the first book about summoning, called âSummeningâ. After going deeper into summoning mechanics, the very first staffs were made, using shards to draw many spirits together in order to create an artificial fighter. These first staffs solely summoned bees, as you would expect. The bee people began developing equipment to make the bonds between them and the spirits stronger, allowing more of these fighters to come.
Technology in the Bee Lands advanced even more when a piece of equipment was made that attracted about a thousand bees. But⌠it started becoming more of a competition. Many bee people started trying to break this record, and a million bees was reached. Five million. 10 million and a queen bee. Everything was going fine until a bee person named Aprul broke the record of 1 billion bees but also made a slight oopsieâŚ
From now on, this day will mark the beginning of a bee swarm that lasts about a week. Now called âApril Foolsâ as in âApril, one of the fools of this era.â This also caused the Vikings to take cover every April Fools, as they didnât like beeing swarmed by bees. But at 201 BCE, they dug out some ruined thing⌠They didnât know what it was and even the smartest Vikings took 30 years to finally assemble it back together. And of course, they decided to see what it does.
180 BCE, the world was taken over by demons and also that amalgam of thrown away weapons, or the curse. Every people united into one, called the Terrarians. During the demonic conquest, many terrarians fought back against the demons. Callers, Soldiers, Warriors, Enchanters, and Weird Yoyo Dudes would use their weapons to fight against the demons and curse the demons brought with them.
But the force was too strong, many perished. Gibby (The first Gibbyâs grandson) saw that the zombies would be destroyed in the future. This lead to the masters wanting to store all their weapons randomly around the world, and only the people who were strong enough could get these weapons. The force then got almost completely demolished, and the curse acted upon the dead bodies to turn them into mindless robots that would kill for blood.
