Nerf the base damage by a fair bit.

Damage is too high even on a kit like full beetle armour which grants no buffs to ranged damage.

The weapon is very easy to spam out in the open and even a single bullet knocks out a solid chunk of health. It doesn’t particular reward any good aim, and the reward is too big for just shooting into an open space while taking minimal risk. It’s a matter of low risk vs moderate to high reward for any kit. keep in mind, some weapons like tsunami are easily spammed into open spaces, but tsunami slows down and falls off near the end, balancing itself out in that aspect. Whereas clockwork rifle is faster and offers similar reward.
