I’ve never heard of this. It won’t take your money and also revert items you payed for, it would revert both the money and items together.

To be clear, there are things not implemented (not bugs, just no one has put in the work to write out what those actions look like so it can recognise them). Fishing in particular only works if you’re not picking up unrelated items:

Trouble with Fishing Loot?

Fishing isn’t fully implemented. If you find fishing to be unreliable then you need to ensure you do not trigger either of these two conditions:

• Picking up an item while reeling in
• Reeling in when the bobber is very close to your character

These conditions will cause your fishing loot to be deleted. If you avoid these two conditions, you should never have any instance of fishing loot being deleted. Let others know of this information until fishing is properly implemented.

There are obscure things, like treasure bags not being able to be picked up, but no one is interested in using the prototype version (which will spam your chat) to screenshot what it says when it happens, so it never gets fixed (it’s not possible to fix without this information).
