im using Sentry ability but i dont get how bank works and is there a reason putting money in it?

You store points into it and at every round end, you get 30% of the stored points back. When the bank dies, you get all stored points.

does something change if it has sentries nearby?

Other sentries like minigun and tank can also store points into it by hitting mobs, which always was a thing, so the most viable strat would be to find a good place in a zombies map for a sentry set up and put a bank near a tank to maximise point gain.
