Assuming that I bought the game from the playstore is there any way to apply for crew?

You could upgrade to Crew using Credits instead, currently Google Play store and similar mobile authentication isn’t supported. Voting for the server gives you 0.05 Credits, and you can vote once per day, so if you don’t spend your Credits on something else you can get it in 40 days of voting.

As I discussed with you earlier, I believe for mobile only credits and DP (which is relatively impossible) are the ways to get crew mobile-wise.
