Best Terraria Loadouts for PvP on iPhone?

Hey everyone,
I’ve been getting into Terraria PvP recently, and I usually play on my iPhone. I’m curious if anyone here has advice on optimizing loadouts for mobile gameplay. The touch controls can be tricky, so I’m wondering if certain classes or weapons work better on iPhone compared to PC or console.

For example, I’ve been trying ranger setups, but aiming can be hit-or-miss on mobile. Are there any strategies, weapons, or accessories that you find especially effective for PvP on iPhone?

Would love to hear how other mobile players approach this! Let’s share some tips and tricks.

Good weapon but it should not be used as your main weapon.

Same purpose as flying dragon.

Also pick only one of the two.

That weapon is banned I thin.

This is actually more of a close-ranged weapon.

My choices:

Close range: Starlight (spam the screen), Paladin’s Hammer, Possessed Hatchet, Flamethrower, Bubble Gun (run away), Shadowflame Hex Doll
Mid-range: Daybreak, Ice Bow, Hallowed Repeater, Tsunami, Nebula Blaze?
Far-away: Sniper Rifle, Tsunami
Pierce walls: Flying Dragon, Stellar Tune
Other: Toxikarp

don’t use those

Instead, use:
Hero Shield
2 emblems of your choice, if melee use fire guantlet and mechanical glove
celestial shell
Solar/Empress Wings
Tabi
Worm Scarf

I havent touched pvp in a long time

Your loadout suggestions are super helpful. I’ll definitely give the Flying Dragon and Stellar Tune a try, especially since they can pierce walls—it sounds perfect for trickier PvP situations. Also, the Rocket Launcher suggestion is interesting; I’ll practice with it and see if it works with my aiming style on mobile.
