1. Let ⚽️ be the width and 🍇 the breadth
A = ⚽️*🍇 = 8 m^2
<=> ⚽️ = 8/🍇
P = 2(🍇+⚽️) = 2(🍇+8/🍇) = 2🍇 + 16/🍇
2. Maximum is between 0 and 8 edges exclusive,
d/d🍇 P(🍇) = 2 - 16/🍇^2
When d/d🍇 P(🍇) = 0
<=> 2-16/🍇^2 =0
<=> 2 = 16/🍇^2
<=> 1/8 = 1/🍇^2
<=> 8 = 🍇^2
<=> sqrt(x) = 🍇 only zero of d/d🍇 P(🍇) between 0 and 8
So breadth =🍇= sqrt(8) m
and width = ⚽️ = 8/🍇 = 8/sqrt(8) = sqrt(8) m
