Maybe? This is only the second color I’ve gotten since the lootbox update.
With the next trading system, given that we’ll be able to sell colors among other items, I’d think it’d make sense for colors to carry more value, since they can influence much, much more content of the messages you send in chat, compared to just a simple note before your message. If colors are rarer from lootboxes as a result, I wouldn’t be surprised.
