I actually play Terraria without volume, so it’s been a long time since I’ve heard the OST.
My most favorite track is the Otherworld Underground Hallowed OST.

I used to play Terraria without volume (mostly on Ipad, really). Gotten used to it. I did it on PC as well, but that was with my music playlist playing in background, not Terraria OST

Actually, when I still played Survival, I turned on music to find biomes and to see if I met the biome requirements in particular positions. Other than that, I used sounds to listen to mobs.
In PvP, I used to turn on sounds to listen to the sound of weapons, wings, mounting, etc.
Now, I don’t care anymore. I usually just listen to some podcast, audio book, or something like that in the background.

Solysis is correct. It was actually cancelled some time ago. Although they have spoken about Terraria 2 recently. It was stated that any and all progress on “Terraria Other world” was completely abandoned and will have zero impact on the new Terraria game.
