Whenever I try to join the pvp dimension it just says “shifting to pvp dimension” and nothing happens can someone help?

Depends on what version of terraria you’re playing. Are you updated to the current version 1.4.1? What platform are you playing or? PC? Mobile? Is your character… a journey mode character?

Assuming your are a PC user with a non-journey mode character, some people take varying amounts of time to connect to different servers. Either that, or at that moment, PvP was down.

I use mobile I’m not on 1.4 yet is that why?

Yes, it is. 1.3.0.7 (the Desktop equivalent that all mobile platforms are currently running) and 1.4.1 are simply too different right now, and mobile players cannot access anything outside of the Rift Dimension, Items Dimension, and the Gamemodes lobby. To go anywhere else, you’ll have to either play on a PC platform or wait for 1.4 to be rolled out to mobile platforms.

oh it happened to me too but instead it said i was banned even though i randomly got unbanned from a never expires ban
