Entering 1.4.4.9 in chat gets you automatically banned for typing an IP despite that is a Terraria version number and not an IP

This generates too many false bans even when only the most recent version was mentioned which is not advertising:

This would help Rofle and Tejdxa to concentrate better when updating the server to 1.4.4

To say I’m on 1.4.4.9 without ban I have to bypass the filter using 1;4;4;9 but that does not break the rules unlike “Enter 127 dot 0 dot 0 dot 1” or “GET OUT OF MY HOUSE, PLANTERA caps caps caps caps” because saying your version with bypassing has no intent to break a rule

maybe have it so if the ip filter sees that it starts with 1.4.4, then it wont auto-unblock. actually, what are the limits for a server id? can it just be anything? or are there rules?

older versions like 1.4.3.6 are ok to say

Moving to bug reports. 1.6.8.6 and 1.8.8.8 are allowed but 1.4.4.9 or 1.9.9.9 doesn’t seem to be
