Suggestion for next DTP - have only Dark Points, because

… credits were used for donations, 1$ = 1 CR which is disabled since a couple of years but now the only donation is the patreon rank.

Votes should give you then a fixed amount of DP (maybe 50-100) because giving x% of current DP would have the expontiality problems, e. g. when it gives you only 1% of current dp you would have after 1 year of constant voting 1.01^365 ~ 37x the DP as last year.

To motivate players in new DTP to play more it could also be based on the LVL number or XP.

Crew role should be dp-obtainable if credits are gone.

Why get rid of them if you could use them for fast and easy trades with other players when you don’t have the Dark Points to spend, or for creating custom titles, tags, or maybe even custom colors in the new system :skull:

As for crew maybe offer both a credits option and a Dark Points option for payment

Credits could continue to be an incentive to continue voting for the server along with daily voting loot boxes

Make this action actually possible by grinding very much but without getting hindered by super slow gain

To balance the Dark Points option it would be best to set the price low enough that it’s physical possible but not so low that it’s too easy to obtain similarly to the already existing credits option

Make 1000 DP ~ 0.1 Credits instead?

To balance this they would most likely have to lower the sell price of metals and set their sell price based on their rarity if they keep that feature in the new system.

So what could be done is the following

If r1 metal item exists set sell value to 1000 DP
If if the metal item is of a rarity value of > r1 set coresponding sell value to 1000 and increase sell value by 1000 per each rarity level

r2 = 2000 DP
r3 = 3000 DP
r4 = 4000 DP
r5 = 5000 DP
r6 = 6000 DP
r7 = 7000 DP
r8 = 8000 DP
r9 = 9000 DP

If r10 metal item exists set sell value to 10000 DP

Currently all metal items of r4 rarity or higher are selling for 15000 so it would be enough for a full credit and one half of a credit so this would need to be changed for balance reasons. My suggestion is just that but it could give an idea of how it could be balanced in the new system

Use the formula instead?
0.25 credits = 200 dp (+0.05 for 40 dp)
0.5 credits = 500 dp (+0.05 for 100 dp)
0.75 credits = 1000 dp (+0.05 for 200 dp)
1 credits = 2000 dp (+0.05 for 400 dp)
1.25 credits = 5000 dp (+0.05 for 1000 dp)
1.5 credits = 10000 dp (+0.05 for 2000 dp)
1.75 credits = 20000 dp (+0.05 for 4000 dp)
2 credits = 50000 dp (+0.05 for 10000 dp)
2.25+ credits = 100000 dp (same add credits as before)
In order to prevent cheating 0.25 credits = 200 dp, after you have that much credits, the price goes up to the next list as per the prenthesis values. (In order to prevent spam, the limit is 100k dp)
This will prevent credits farm

The formula I had set up was to balance metal selling farming so it could still be implemented to some degree in the future

This is a formula to convert credits to dp and back with some balance (0.05, 0.25)

I don’t think giving DP would be a viable long-term solution until the inflation problem is fixed
